Buzly
Child Safety Standards
Buzly is for adults only. Buzly Labs Ltd has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content, behaviour or account that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child is prohibited, removed, and reported.
1. Adults only
- You must be 18 or older to use Buzly. Every account must enter a date of birth before it can send or receive anything.
- Accounts with a date of birth under 18 are locked out of every Buzly feature. A date of birth can't be changed in the app once set.
- Anyone can report a person they believe is under 18 (report reason "Underage"). We review these reports and remove underage accounts.
2. What is prohibited
- Any sexual or sexualised content involving a minor, including drawings, edited or AI-generated images.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation, or any attempt to contact, meet or obtain images from a minor.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM anywhere in Buzly, including chat.
- Showing a minor in an inappropriate or unsafe way.
These rules apply in addition to our Terms of Use, which ban nudity and sexual content for everyone.
3. How we prevent and detect it
- Every photo is checked before anyone sees it. Moments are taken live in the app (never from a gallery) and are scanned by automated image moderation before delivery. Photos flagged as sexual or explicit are rejected and never delivered.
- People can only chat after both sides choose to connect. Chat messages are filtered for sexual solicitation and abusive terms.
- Strangers never see your name, exact location or contact details.
4. Reporting a concern
- In the app: on any moment or chat, use "Report or block" and choose the reason that fits ("Underage" or "Inappropriate content"). The moment leaves your feed immediately and you can block the person.
- By email: ask@buzlylabs.com, subject "Child safety". Our designated child safety contact reviews these reports with priority.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
5. What we do
- Content that violates these standards is removed and the account is suspended or permanently banned.
- We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities as required by law, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and national law enforcement, and preserve the information they need.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests related to child safety.
